How We Keep Your Data Safe

Encryption

All data transmitted between your device and Findex is protected with industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL). This means your portfolio details, account information, and personal data are encrypted both in transit and at rest. Even if someone intercepted the data, they would not be able to read it.

Read-Only Access

When you connect a bank, broker, or other financial provider through Findex, we only request read-only access to your data. This means:

  • Findex can view your account balances, holdings, and transactions

  • Findex cannot move money, execute trades, or make any changes to your accounts

Secure Authentication

Findex uses Auth0, a trusted authentication platform, to manage sign-ins securely. If you log in via BankID, you already benefit from strong, built-in two-factor authentication. Additional 2FA options for all users are coming soon.

GDPR Compliance

Findex is fully compliant with the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data at any time. Read more in GDPR Compliance.

Tips

  • Use a strong, unique password for your Findex account. Avoid reusing passwords from other services.

  • Log in with BankID when possible for the strongest level of authentication available today.

  • Keep your email up to date so you can receive security notifications from Findex.

  • Review your connected providers regularly under Settings > Providers & Integrations to ensure only trusted sources have access.
